NOTICE OF REORGANIZATION
A few years ago I was persuaded against my better judgment to incorporate the Congregation of Donmeh West as a legal entity, a "church," and to begin ordaining some of my closest students as ministers and deacons. In retrospect, this was contrary to our teachings about "religion" and a mistake -- but one that is easily corrected.
Effective immediately Donmeh West, the Friends of Donmeh West, the Congregation of Donmeh West and the Ma'aminim of the Congregation of Donmeh West are disbanded as legal religious entities and returned to their original status as unincorporated, non-religious communities for the teaching by me and practice by my students of the non-sectarian Neo-Sabbatian Kabbalah of which I am the sole representative on and off the internet.
Furthermore, in light of this, ANY ORDINATIONS I MAY HAVE MADE IN THE PAST ARE HEREBY RESCINDED BY ME and the right to teach, preach and heal in the name of the now unincorporated Congregation of Donmeh West are unequivocally and permanently revoked except for the following three persons who shall remain my non-ordained but spiritual legatees: Aisav ben Yakov Leib, Yesod ben Yakov Leib and Shaul ben Yakov Leib.
Furthermore, all members of Donmeh West, the Friends of Donmeh West, the Congregation of Donmeh West and the Ma'aminim of Donmeh West remain members of those still-functioning but now unincorporated, non-sectarian, spiritual communities.
Finally, only those Ma'aminim who remain members in good standing of that community and, consequently, my spiritual sons and daughters are permitted by me (Yakov Leib) to use the Hebrew name "ben/bat Yakov Leib" ("son/daughter of Yakov Leib") now or in the future. In other words, those who are (either by their own action or ours) no longer my spiritual sons and daughters are forbidden by me to use the name that carries such a designation.
All of this I do as the founder, leader and sole teacher of the Congregation of Donmeh West and the Neo-Sabbatian Kabbalah it espouses.
Zevi Go'el,
Reb Yakov Leib HaKohain
